Who needs to stretch?
The quick answer : EVERYONE!
The body is made of muscles, connective tissues, bones, and organs. Fascia is thick connective tissue that extends from head to toe, surrounding every muscle, organ and infusing our organs and cells. Fascia will shorten from poor posture, surgery, stress and trauma. Adding stressors such as lifting and carrying when traveling further adds to the tension in the fascial system. By elongating the fascial tissues, we can decrease the compression on our joints, improve the posture, and minimize pain.
